We are North Alabama’s only dedicated eye surgery center, providing care and surgical intervention for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other complex ophthalmologic conditions. All procedures are performed on an out-patient basis right here at our convenient Huntsville location using the most up-to-date methods available today. Our team is comprised of the region’s most accomplished eye surgeons, ensuring that the health of your eyes is in the best hands possible.
Why Choose Us?
The Eye Surgery Center of North Alabama (ESCNA) is a highly specialized ambulatory eye surgery practice serving all of North Alabama and mid-Southern Tennessee. We provide treatments and procedures on an out-patient basis, meaning that your procedure is performed as day surgery and you can go home as soon as you are cleared to leave.
Because we specialize in eye surgery procedures, we are able to focus on doing what we do best. Unlike procedures performed in an acute care facility or hospital, our procedures are relatively low or of minimal risk to our patients. For this reason, choosing to have your eye procedure in our clinic is a smart decision. We perform our procedures on a routine basis and our doctors always have the most up-to-date research to base their decisions upon.
Since 2007, ESCNA has performed almost 30K eye procedures, so you can be confident that your surgeon is among the most experienced and accomplished eye surgeons available. We have successfully treated cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, corneal treatments, retina surgery, and more, right here at our clinic.
Our patients love us, not just because of their renewed outlook on life, but because our staff is so friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. You’ll feel like family because you’ll be treated like family – and nothing is more important to us than to see you happy with your renewed vision.
Our surgeons are highly-trained in the latest treatments and procedures and very well-versed in the latest methodologies and research. For our administrative team, our nurses, and our surgeons, your comfort and confidence is our priority.
